All about Economic Event Clusters (EEC’s)

In order to make our higher-level strategic analysis easier and align our thinking with the way that central bankers think, we need to be able to group related events together.

While there might be different ways of grouping events together, we currently group them together as follows:

EAG – Economic Activity General

EAS – Economic Activity Supply (relating to the production side)

EAD – Economic Activity Demand (relating to consumption side)

INF – Inflation (this might have been more appropriately called Prices)

INT – Interest Rates

CBF – Cross-Border Flows

The Events Diffusion Aggregator makes sole use of these groupings.
